Life of Action Vol. II Update

(Above: Book cover from the first volume, new artwork for Vol. II to be announced) My next book Life of Action Vol. II is due for release early in 2019. I was originally hoping for a late 2018 date but, due to locking down certain interviews and a few other logistics, that date needed to be pushed back. I’m a firm believer in taking time to make something as good as possible, so ultimately it will be worthwhile. Thank you …

Redcon-1 panels at MCM Comic Con

I’ll be hosting exclusive cast and filmmaker panels at both MCM Glasgow and MCM London for new action-martial arts-horror hybrid, Redcon-1. It’s released in UK cinemas from 28th September and on Blu-ray and DVD in February 2019. In Redcon-1, after a zombie apocalypse spreads from a London prison, the UK is brought to its knees. The spread of the virus is temporarily contained but, without a cure, it’s only a matter of time before it breaks its boundaries and the …

Fighting Spirit Film Festival 2018

I’ve started unveiling featured names in my upcoming next book, the second volume of Life of Action. To kick things off, I officially announced actor Frank Grillo in the book, who is exclusively interviewed. Keep an eye on the Facebook page here to track the weekly announcements. Born in 1965 in New York, Frank Grillo is now recognised as one of the busiest and hardest working action actors today. Combining his passion across different art forms, he has forged a successful …

Eden Grey makes official selection at Artemis

It was great to hear that Eden Grey, a female-driven short action film I worked on, made official selection at the prestigious Artemis Women in Action Film Festival 2018. Writer/director Tyrone Samuels and everyone involved in making the film brought their best, worked hard and I had a blast designing the action with my good friend Francois Mequer. The film will be screening during the festival between 26-29 April 2018 in Santa Monica, California. Celebrating powerful women taking action onscreen, Artemis Motion Pictures created this …

Life of Action in Fighting Spirit Magazine

If you, too, were getting your pro wrestling fix in the January 2018 issue of Fighting Spirit Magazine, you may have spotted Life of Action and Scott Adkins‘ unmistakeable character, Yuri Boyka, within the pages of the magazine. As I work on the upcoming second volume, with more news to follow soon, this was a great boost and motivation to see! Fighting Spirit Magazine remains the UK’s only monthly magazine dedicated exclusively to pro wrestling and mixed martial arts, and covers both …
