Trailer Released for Green Street 3: Never Back Down

Danny Harvey (Scott Adkins), has spent all of his life fighting – in the playground, on the football pitch and then for the Green Street Elite. Danny turned his back on football violence and moved away from London. When Joey (Danny’s younger brother) is killed in an organised fight, Danny is forced to return for Joey’s funeral. Here, Danny meets up with his childhood best mate, Victor Davis, who’s the detective assigned to investigate Joey’s murder. Victor knows the only …

Filming Wrapped on Verona

I recently wrapped on Verona, a new short film based on the story of Romeo and Juliet. I was brought in to coordinate a fight scene for the production. According to the original pitch, “Mirror and Soliloquy Pictures combine forces to present an anthology of 10 short films based on the plays of William Shakespeare – the first of the decalogue being Verona. Each play will be interpreted for the contemporary London experience, and retold using modern English in circa 10 …

Fight Choreography Workshop at The Biz Theatre School – June 2013

Following on from previous screen fighting workshops at the school, this time we worked on re-creating a scene from the BBC series, M.I. High, in preparation for a performance. The students worked on their strikes, reactions and placing the fight for a live audience. Everyone had a good time and it allowed the students to combine script and drama with action, also adapting their own ideas for the fight.

Confine Gets Cinema and DVD Release

Confine is released in the UK by Koch Media and will be in cinemas and on DVD from Monday 1 July! I was stunt coordinator on the film and had a lot of fun working with a great team. In the film, Pippa (Daisy Lowe) is a physically and emotionally scarred former model living as a recluse in her meticulous Georgian flat. When a heist taking place in the same building goes wrong, Pippa’s home is broken into by the …

I have a new book on the way which I hope will be a real treat for action cinema lovers! As a huge fan myself, I’ve really tried to produce something I’d want to read. I can’t say too much right now but more news will be announced very soon and the book is due for release later this year. Remember in the meantime you can check out articles, interviews and other content in the archives via the top menu. …

Confine at Raindance Film Festival

Confine has been nominated for ‘Best UK Feature’ at the Raindance Film Festival 2012! I had a great time working on the stunts and action for this with a talented team. “Director and screenwriter Tobias Tobbell has created a tense, claustrophobic thriller with a talented and stylish young cast. We find anxious former model Pippa (Daisy Lowe) pottering around in her spacious London flat in four-inch heels, supported by a walking stick. It is clear that she has been through a lot, but she is about …
