Frank Grillo and more in Life of Action Vol. II

I've started unveiling featured names in my upcoming next book, the second volume of Life of Action.

Born in 1965 in New York, Frank Grillo is now recognised as one of the busiest and hardest working action actors today. Combining his passion across different art forms, he has forged a successful acting career intertwined with his lifelong love of martial arts, with each component supporting the other.\

His career started in TV before his film career took off. Movie highlights have included Pride and Glory, Warrior, The Grey, End of Watch, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Civil War, The Purge: Anarchy and Election Year, Beyond Skyline, Wolf Warrior 2, Wheelman and the upcoming Boss Level. He also returned to TV screens for acclaimed family-themed fight drama, Kingdom.

Approaching his life, acting and physical training with the discipline of a fighter, he remains hungry, humble and one of the hardest working actors in the game.

In the book, he says, "My career trajectory has been much like an off-road obstacle course. There’s a lot of bumps, bruises and you need to go around some hard terrain, but eventually you’ll get to the place you want to be."

When offering advice, he says, "I tell people there are no secrets, no shortcuts. You need to work hard and persevere through all the tough times because we all have them. Just remember, there are no rules."
