Born in Hong Kong in 1946, the legendary tough guy of the Triad genre, Michael Chan Wai-Man, lived up to his hard-as-nails persona earning titles as a feared Boxer and Kickboxer across Southeast Asia. He was discovered by Shaw Bros and started appearing in films in 1970, usually cast as a villain or anti-hero for his intimidating look and characteristics. His hugely successful film career would engrain him in the Hong Kong gangster movie genre and see him frequently turn up onscreen, appearing in around 150 films to date, including The Club, Project A II, Young and Dangerous and Gallants...
